was significantly simplified, the institute of authorized inspectors was abolished.
As the Czech National Cyber and Information Security Agency (NÚKIB) informed on its website (www.nukib.cz), the draft of the new Cyber Security Act was sent to the interdepartmental commentary procedure. NÚKIB submits the Act together with the incorporated suggestions received in the period from 26 January to 12 March 2023 as part of public consultations. NÚKIB Director Lukáš Kintr thanked on this occasion "... not only for the suggestions sent, but also for the related constructive debate, which will certainly be transferred to the interdepartmental commentary procedure."
That these are not just empty words has been shown, for example, by the fact that the Decree on Security Measures of the Important Regulated Service Provider has been completely revised and simplified on the basis of suggestions. In the settlement of suggestions NÚKIB also stated that the much-criticized institute of authorized inspectors will not be introduced at all.
